Life-Saving Rules

Ergon Technologies has adopted the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) nine Life-Saving Rules to allow for better transfer of knowledge, experience and lessons learned so that we Increase individual awareness and ownership of critical safeguards to prevent fatalities and serious injuries.These Rules support our Management System and are highlighted throughout our standards and procedures.

Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)

At Ergon, we are dedicated to providing constant and efficient management of worksite safety, including both personal and process safety. We actively work towards establishing requirements for prevention of risk and defining them. In this manner operational hazards can be identified, and risk managed before any work activities are started.

The key components of Ergon’s SSoW framework specify the minimum requirements that focus on preventing harm to people, environment or plant.

Behaviour-Based Safety Training

Our Behavioural Safety Program supports our effort in eliminating incidents and building a consistent safety culture by monitoring the workplace and having constant interactions with personnel about safety while correcting unsafe behaviour or conditions and hence reinforcing positive behaviours. This goes towards creating a respectful environment that encourages safety and well being.
